Privacy Policy

We collect zero personal information. Your trips, purchases, and declaration history stay on your device. We have no servers, no accounts, and cannot see any of your data.

Data We Collect

None. We do not collect, store, or transmit any of your personal information:

• No analytics or tracking
• No crash reports or diagnostic data
• No advertising identifiers
• No third-party services
• No server communication whatsoever

Where Your Data Lives

All data is stored locally on your device. This includes your trips, purchases, receipt photos, traveler profiles, and declaration history. Your data never leaves your device unless you explicitly export it (e.g., generating a PDF report to share).

Offline-First Design

Duty Free is designed to work entirely offline. This is a privacy feature: because the app doesn't require internet connectivity, there's no opportunity for your data to be transmitted anywhere. Product lookups use locally cached databases.

Permissions

Camera: To scan barcodes and photograph receipts. Photos are stored locally on your device, never transmitted.

Photo Library: To select existing receipt photos or product images. Photos are stored locally, never transmitted.

Notifications: Optional reminders for trip completion. Local notifications only, no data sent anywhere.

Your Rights

You have complete control over your data. All data is visible in the app. You can delete individual trips, purchases, or use "Delete All Data" in Settings to permanently remove everything. When you delete data, it's gone—we have no backups because we have no servers.

Data Export

You can export your data at any time:

• Declaration Reports: Generate PDF summaries for customs or personal records
• Trip History: Export your trip and purchase data for your own backup

These exports are created on your device and shared only where you choose to send them.

Children's Privacy

This app does not collect any personal information from anyone. However, the app deals with customs regulations and financial declarations, which are adult responsibilities. We recommend the app for users 18 years and older.
