Privacy Policy

We collect zero personal information. Your pattern library, fabric stash, and organization data stay on your device. We have no servers, no accounts, and cannot see any of your data.

Where Your Data Lives

All data is stored locally on your iPad. This includes your pattern library, fabric stash, photos, ratings, favorites, and organizational data. Your data never leaves your device unless you explicitly export it.

Offline-First Design

Pattern Base is designed to work entirely offline. This is a privacy feature: because the app doesn't require internet connectivity, there's no opportunity for your data to be transmitted anywhere. Browse your entire pattern library without any network connection.

Permissions

Camera: To photograph pattern envelopes, fabric swatches, or finished projects. Photos are stored locally on your device, never transmitted.

Photo Library: To select existing photos for your patterns or fabrics. Photos are stored locally, never transmitted.

Your Rights

You have complete control over your data. All data is visible in the app. You can delete individual patterns, fabrics, or use "Delete All Data" in Settings to permanently remove everything. When you delete data, it's gone—we have no backups because we have no servers.

Data Backup

Your Pattern Base data is included in your regular iPad backups (iCloud Backup or local backups via Finder/iTunes). We recommend keeping backups enabled to protect your library.

Children's Privacy

This app does not collect any personal information from anyone. The app is suitable for users of all ages who are interested in organizing sewing patterns. There is no objectionable content, user interaction, or data collection.
